| Bobby and Blue Ridge Tradition was recently featured on "The Grand Old Time Machine" with Wichita Rutherford on Bluegrass Junction on Sirius / XM satellite radio! Wichita gave us a great review and we are eternally grateful to him. His show airs Friday nights at 9:00pm and again Saturday nights at 12:00 midnight. If you're on Sirus, it's channel 65 and XM listeners can hear it on channel 14. Tune in and turn it up!

If you've been to the Fiddlin' Pig in Asheville, then you know what a great time and great food really is. If you haven't, what are you waiting for? The Fiddlin' Pig goes above and beyond what you would expect from a barbecue & bluegrass restaurant. This is a true taste of Asheville's favorite foods and music. Bring the whole family out and enjoy one of Asheville's hottest spots for great southern food and blazing bluegrass music! We'll be playing there all through the year, so come on out & join the crowd!

One of the major highlights of our year has to be our show at Eaglenest Entertainment in Maggie Valley, NC. On Friday, October 16, we were fortunate enough to play there along with Bill Yates and the Country Gentlemen Tribute Band. This was a wonderful evening of music and fun. We look forward to more events like this in the near future.

We had an absolute ball performing at the 2009 North Carolina Mountain State Fair, held each year at the WNC Agricultural Center in Fletcher, NC. The fair was once again a success this year, and we were mighty proud to be a part of it. Congratulations to all the winners of the various competitions. We'll see y'all again in 2010!

It was a great honor for us to perform at the Mountain Dance & Folk Festival, held at the Diana Wortham Theater, for our 6th consecutive year. We really enjoyed meeting some new friends, and the sold-out audience was just tremendous. Thank you for the outstanding support you extended to us.

The Street Dances in Downtown Hendersonville on Monday nights are an absolute blast! We've met so many wonderful people there and made some great new friends. Walt Puckett, the square dance caller, is really a master of his craft, and the dancers were just awesome. Come on out & join us for a great evening of free music and dancing. We'll be there on July 6, July 13, August 10 and August 31. Get ready Hendersonville!

Our most recent show at the Feed & Seed in Fletcher was one of the best ever. Everyone who was there really blessed us by showing up and really getting into the music. We had more compliments from all of you than we deserve. The Feed & Seed is an outstanding music venue, taking you back to a simpler time when folks in the community came together for a great evening of good, wholesome fun. We really look forward to playing there again on May 23, 2009.
